How to Apply for a Grant/Scholarship
APESF offers two different types of awards - grants and scholarships. Grants are awarded based on the recommendations of our donors and scholarships are awarded based primarily on financial need. (Learn More) Before you complete an application, you will need to decide the type of award for which you will apply. You may apply for one or both using the same Grant/Scholarship Application Form.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Download the Grant/Scholarship Application Form below. Complete one application PER FAMILY.
- Sign and date the application in Section III and indicate the type of award for which you are applying:
TO APPLY FOR A TUITION GRANT (based on donor recommendations):
- Complete ONLY Sections I, II and III of the application.

TO APPLY FOR A TUITION SCHOLARSHIP (based on financial need):
- Complete ALL SECTIONS of the application.
- Submit a copy of page 2 of your 2007 tax return.
- Submit a copy of each student applicants' most recent report card.

TO APPLY FOR A TUITION GRANT AND SCHOLARSHIP:
- Complete ALL SECTIONS of the application.
- Submit a copy of page 2 of your 2007 tax return.
- Submit a copy of each student applicants' most recent report card.

- Enlcose a check or money order, payable to "APESF", for $10 PER STUDENT APPLICANT.
- Mail the completed Grant/Scholarship Application Form and check to:

Please review our Application Timeline for information regarding distribution dates and deadlines. Please note: All Grant/Scholarship Applications go out-of-date after March 31 of each year. You must re-apply each year to be eligible to receive an award from APESF.
