APESF TIMELINE - Updated!
GRANTS | Distributed THREE times per year in July, November and March
Grants are awarded from funds in which a donor recommends a specific child. The recommendation of the donor will be considered in determining the grant allocation, however, all final decisions in awarding grants/scholarships are up to the sole and absolute discretion of APESF.
SCHOLARSHIPS | Distributed TWICE per year in July and November.
Scholarships are awarded based primarily on financial need.
April 1

APESF begins accepting applications for the summer, fall and spring distributions.
Applications submitted after this date will be valid until March 31 of the following year.

Scholarship application and donation deadline for the July grant/scholarship distribution.

|
Scholarship committee meets to make awards. APESF sends grant/scholarship awards to schools on behalf of student recipients. Award letters sent to students.

Scholarship application and donation deadline for the November grant/scholarship distribution.

Scholarship committee meets to make awards. APESF sends grant/scholarship awards to schools on behalf of student recipients. Award letters sent to students.

Donation deadline for current tax year. Donations sent by mail must be postmarked by December 31 and online donations must be submitted by midnight on December 31.

APESF sends grant/scholarship applications to all students recommended by donors for a potential grant award.

Scholarship application and donation deadline for March grant distribution.

Scholarship committee meets to make awards. APESF sends grant awards to schools on behalf of student recipients. Award letters sent to students.

All scholarship applications go out-of-date after March 31. You must fill out a new application every year beginning April 1 to be eligible for our grant/scholarship distributions.
NOTE: If you submitted an application after April 1, 2008, your application will remain active until March 31, 2009.
